CPF and Saps join hands for crime safety
The officers and CPF members spent the early moments of their morning at the corner of JG Strydom Road and Haak-en-Steek Street.
Crime will forever remain an issue in the world, but the Honeydew Community Policing Forum along with officers from the Honeydew Police Station did their part to combat the issue by handing out crime prevention pamphlets.
The handing out of the pamphlets formed part of the ongoing partnership between the Honeydew CPF and the Honeydew Police to combat crime in the area. The initiative was also part of the police’s social crime prevention campaign, and saw more than 100 pamphlets handed out to residents and passers-by who stopped at the intersection of JG Strydom Road and Haak-en-Steek Street.

Various pamphlets and booklets were handed out, which included safety tips for various activities/ situations, ranging from shopping to driving, and even what one should do when at home.
