Drama learners win big in LA

The learners bagged 24 gold, 35 silver and 51 bronze medals overall.

 

While most learners were enjoying a break during the school holidays, some of the King’s School West Rand drama learners were hard at work abroad.

The six learners jetted to Los Angeles during the holidays to participate in the World Championships.The learners bagged 24 gold, 35 silver and 51 bronze medals.

This is what they achieved:

· Liam Bester took five gold, three silver and eight bronze, as well as overall Champion of the World 2018 trophy.

· Katie Bester took one gold, four silver and six bronze medals.

· Cailey Cruickshank scooped up one gold, two silver and seven bronze.

· Kholiwe Nkosi bagged one gold, five silver and six bronze.

· Mariela Romanelli took two gold, one silver and three bronze.

· Ontshiametse Zono took one gold, five silver and four bronze.
