Nomi is officially a Mrs SA finalist
Mrs South Africa has, over the years, earned itself an honourable reputation for raising vast amounts of money for the Cancer Association of South Africa.
Little Fall’s very own Dr Nombina Habangana’s sterling efforts have ensured that she has found herself among the Top 25 finalists of this year’s Mrs South Africa competition.
Hosted by the fabulous Pabi Moloi, the guests at this year’s Mrs South Africa Charity Ball dinner in aid of Women4Women, were entertained with music by proudly South African all-girl group instrumentalists, The Muses as well as an incredible fashion show by Contempo Retail.
It was an important occasion on the Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa calendar too, as the Top 100 semifinalists, announced four months prior, were narrowed down to the Top 25 finalists with the announcement made at the dinner.
According to Nomi, the judges admitted to this being the hardest round of judging thus far as all the semifinalists had inspired them and displayed beauty, grace and dedication.
The Top 25 finalists will now embark on a journey of fundraising, networking and self-development until the final round of judging, before crowning Mrs South Africa 2019.
SABC 3 will broadcast content featuring the Top 25 finalists as well as the crowning of Mrs South Africa 2019, taking place at Emperors Palace on 9 November.
The newly-crowned Mrs South Africa 2019 will become an SABC 3 ambassador and represent South Africa internationally at the Mrs World pageant.
“The Mrs South Africa brand showcases the virtues of South Africa, the spirit of Ubuntu, and the real relatable women of the country,” Nomi said. “Through SABC 3, Mrs South Africa aims to share true South African stories, to empower and showcase true beauty that shines from within and celebrate every woman in her unique femininity.”
