Councillor frustrated by negligent contractors
MMC for Economic Development and Ward 97 councillor, Leah Knott, has vented her frustrations against private contractors who damage water pipes.
This follows yet another damaged pipe on Van Dalen Road in Willowbrook Estate which left residents with dry taps yesterday, 9 July.

“We are seriously taking a knock with contractor damage to infrastructure. Van Dalen Road, off Peter Road, is without water again,” she stressed.
The incident comes a couple of days after the area experienced a wide-spread water outage which was caused by Vumatel on Friday, 6 July.
The restoration process has not been communicated as yet.
