R1 000 reward for a stolen sentimental piece

This stolen piece is of sentimental value to the Roodepoort Masonic Centre and they want it back.

 

On Sunday, 1 July a break-in took place at the Roodepoort Masonic Centre and a historical and sentimental piece was stolen.

Nigel Hulse, a member of Clara Lodge at the Masonic Centre said, “This plaque is a irreplaceable piece of Masonic history and we are offering a reward of R1 000 for its safe return – considerably more than its scrap metal value”.

The historical piece is from the year 1914 and carries the names of the brethren who took part in the Great War.
