Financial budget vote in progress for Gauteng MECs
The Gauteng Members of the Executive Council (MECs) are tabling the 2018/ 19 budget vote which began on 26 June and ends today 29 June.
A three-day financial year budget vote is currently under way in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
The Gauteng Members of the Executive Council (MECs) are tabling the 2018/ 19 budget vote which began on 26 June, and ends today 29 June.
The MECs will highlight key achievements in implementing the programme of Transformation, Modernisation and Re-industrialisation (TMR) and further unpack the provincial government’s programme of action for the current financial year as announced by Premier David Makhura during the State of the Province Address in February 2018.
The provincial government vowed to continue to drive meaningful transformation, deepen social cohesion and strengthen key sectors of the economy to fight poverty and inequality.
