One person killed in Florida accident
She had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life
A woman believed to be in her 20s, was killed when she was hit by a light motor vehicle during the morning of 22 June.
The accident happened at the intersection of Ruth Road and Naomi Street in Florida.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 6.06am and found the body of a woman lying in the left-hand emergency lane. The light motor vehicle that had hit her had come to a stop just a short distance away.

“Upon assessment, it was found that she had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead.
The driver of the light motor vehicle fortunately escaped injury,” said Russell Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.
The cause of the incident is unknown, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
