A taste and time to switch to Gin

 

If gin is your favourite drink, or you want to acquire a taste for it, do not miss out on the first ever Cradle Gin Festival to be held on 24 September at Glenburg Lodge in the Cradle of Humankind.

About 20 different craft and international gins will be showcased and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase them at special show prices – so whether you fancy yourself a bit of a connoisseur or are trying to acquire a taste, the Gin Festival is just the place to be.

Melody Barber and Ellen Oosthuizen have partnered with Guvon Hotels and Spas to bring a different outdoor offering to the West Rand.

Tickets will be going on sale at the end of June and can be purchased on www.ticketpro.co.za or in-store at Edgars, Postnet, Jet or CNA.

All ticketholders will be presented with a balloon glass at the festival – the best way to appreciate the crafted drinks, and yours to take home as a memento.

The Cradle Gin Festival will be held on Sunday, 24 September from 11am to 6pm. With the following Monday being a public holiday, you have no excuse to miss out on all the fun.

The tickets sell at R150 per person (includes a glass, one gin and tonic and entertainment at a river setting). VIP tickets sell at R350 per person (including a glass, one gin and tonic and a sit-down buffet lunch and bottled water).
