BREAKING NEWS: Traffic disrupted after vehicle burst into flames on Ontdekkers Road
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage
A light motor vehicle has caught alight on the left hand lane after the Ontdekkers Road and William Nicol intersection in Constantia Kloof this afternoon 21 June.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage. However, the person believed to be the owner of the vehicle managed to escape without any injuries.
Security personnel and paramedics have closed off Ontdekkers Road as the burning Ford Fiesta posed great danger to othet motorists as the car continues to burst into flames – scattering parts all over the road. Onlookers were also advised to keep a safe distance from the scene.
City of Johannesburg fire fighters have arrived at the scene.
