Unilever back with another cooking competition
Read about the requirements to enter Chef of the Year.
The Unilever Chef of the Year competition is back and is calling for all chefs across the country to test their skills in the kitchen.
Professionals and the up-and-coming chefs who bring enthusiasm, drive and grit to what they do, and are always pushing themselves to do even better, are invited to join the clash which promises the biggest prize pool in the country, including a chance to win up to R15 000 in cash.

The requirements are as follows:
The first entry is open to senior chefs (more than five years’ experience and over 25 years old), who stand in line to win the R15 000 first prize, R10 000 second prize or R5 000 third prize.
All it takes is the right combination of passion, experience, ambition and skill to win. The second entry is for junior chefs aged between 18 and 25 and with less than five years’ experience. They are in line for R10 000, R6 000 and R4 000 for first, second and third place respectively.
If you are up for the challenge, you are required to register now, by emailing your name, surname, contact number and category you wish to enter (Senior or Junior) to entries@coty2018.co.za. A representative will then contact you to finalise your entry, which consists of a recipe for a three-course meal for three persons, using Unilever Food Solutions products.
The competition organisers are looking for as many entries as possible. Regional finals will be held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, with the finals taking place in Durban.
