The Roodepoort Police arrested 51 suspects in the three-day period from 5 to 7 June.
During special stop-and-search operations, 51 suspects aged between 23 and 56 were arrested on the following charges – assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm, common assault, intimidation, reckless and negligent driving, malicious injury to property, possession of drugs, violating a protection order, possession of dagga, fraud, contempt of court, possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle and shoplifting.
The suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
