Drunk drivers arrested in the city
Which region had the highest number of drunken driving arrests?
The Johannesburg Metro Police Department arrested a total of 186 city motorists for drunken driving during the weekend ending 3 June.
This statistic was revealed on the City of Joburg’s Twitter feed. The report dissected the arrests according to the regions into which the city is divided.

Region C, which covers Roodepoort, contributed 19 arrests to the total, but this was not the highest as Region F1 led with 39 arrests, followed by the freeway, with 28 arrests.
