Katja Bruwer, instructor at the dojo, said, “I was in Burundi with the National teams that participated in the Cadet and Junior African Championships and was unable to be at Wits. However, I just want to say a huge thank you to all our older judoka (who are also accredited Judo SA Coaches) who did a sterling job of looking after our fighters on the day. Louw Schultz, Gerhard Schultz, Louis Truter, Willem Truter and Raydon Diab – I am so blessed being able to leave our judoka in your very capable hands.”
