West Ridge High: Still no response from GDE
The Record hopes to make contact with GDE spokesperson, Steve Mabona, during the course of today (22 May).
Despite having made more than one attempt to contact the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), the Record has yet to receive a response to fresh allegations levelled against West Ridge High School.

This comes after the Record obtained a leaked document from a group of anonymous ‘disgruntled educators’ in which a myriad serious allegations were made. These include deep factionalism, divided loyalties, unhealthy vying for positions, a plot to have the principal removed, trade union politics and teachers influencing learners to disrupt classes.
