Lindhaven residents warned of planned power outage
The interruption will be from 7am to 3pm
The City of Johannesburg’s electricity entity, City Power, is notifying its clients in Lindhaven to prepare for a planned power outage on 24 May.

The outage will be from 7am to 3pm and is necessary for maintenance work to be done on the Reefhaven Substation. It will affect the following areas:
• Oak Street
• Birch Street
• Rothchild Street
• Lieman Street
• South Road
• Hazel Street
• Maple Street
• Zandberg Street
This maintenance forms part of City Power’s programme of constantly striving to provide better service.
Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as the electricity can be restored at any time.
The entity apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by this interruption and urged customers who might have any queries or need more information on this outage to contact City Power’s call centre on 0860 562 874.
