Learners educated about stranger danger
The BCI team, with the help of Honeydew Police Station and ER24, also put on a small display, showcasing the K9 team’s narcotics and attack dogs.
Learners at Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel acquired a whole a lot of knowledge about safety and emergency situations when Honeydew Police Station, ER24 and BCI Security conducted a safety and K9 demonstration.
These organisations visited the school on 16 May, and spent the morning with the Grade 4 and 5 learners, teaching them about the dangers of talking to strangers and accepting anything from them.
