“Popcorn Kids would like to sincerely thank your beautiful school (Trinityhouse Preparatory Little Falls) for dedicating your ‘Other People’s Day’ to autism awareness by reaching out to our small organisation and raising funds for a worthy cause,” said Lerika du Plessis, the fundraising coordinator for Popcorn Kidz.
Popcorn Kidz is a school in Northcliff that aims to “unpop a child’s potential”, especially those battling autism on all levels.
The school recently received a staggering R18 245 that was raised by Trinityhouse Preparatory Little Falls’ parents and learners who participated in the Old Mutual Two Oceans Fun Run and Half Marathon.
