Six learners from Hoërskool Roodepoort excelled on the dance floor recently.
Three of them did their first Ballroom and Latin dance exam, and did not only show up, but had the other competitors on their toes.
Aniel Strydom scored 89 per cent in the Bronze Intermediate category. Both Leon Vieira and Jessica Pinker competed in the Bronze Preliminary category and scored 85 per cent and 88 per cent respectively.
The hip-hop group, Toxic, also made a huge impression during the competition. They competed against participants from the Battle of the Giants championships, and showed that they were just as good, maybe even better. The group, which consisted of Cassiti Swart, Anya Erasmus and Sharon Odumetsi, achieved a mark of 94 per cent.
