[BREAKING NEWS – WATCH] It’s raining Schweppes and samp at Pinehaven intersection
Traffic is heavily backed up in all directions heading towards the intersection – use alternative routes.
Emergency services have reported that two trucks, one carrying Schweppes beverages and the other carrying prepacked dried foods, collided at the Pinehaven/ N14 intersection (R28) earlier today, 14 May.
A number of other vehicles were also involved in the collision.
There have been no reports of fatalities as yet.

In the meantime, members on scene report heavy congestion on the roads leading to the intersection as the cans of Schweppes and packets of food are still obstructing the road.
The roads affected are the R28 downhill near Silverstar Casino coming from Mount Usambara, the N14 coming from Pretoria heading towards Krugersdorp, the N14 coming from Netcare Pinehaven towards Sasol Pinehaven, and Hendrik Potgieter Road coming from Farm City towards Cradlestone Mall.

This is not the first time trucks carrying food have crashed at this spot.
