Tired of feeling worthless

Kim Hugo from Wilgeheuwel writes:

I am over 40 and battling to find employment. I was retrenched in 2016 and have been battling ever since. I am registered with employment agencies and on every internet site available.

I am a single mom and need to work to survive. It seems that you send your CV out into a black hole with no answers, and a lot of adverts require you to fax your CV to 086 numbers from which you never get any feedback.

I keep getting told everything is BEE, which does not help me as I am a white woman. I just think it’s very racist. I have years of experience in various areas, but because I have the wrong colour skin, I can’t get a job.

Like the others mentioned, I am still alive, I can still work, and I still have a brain.

I require a job as soon as possible but also one with a decent salary. I am tired of being made to feel non-existent and worthless.
