I find it disgusting that retailers (and suppliers) are blatantly exploiting consumers because of the one per cent increase in VAT. Foodstuffs have shot up in price and not just by R1 or R2. Folks with lower incomes and pensioners are battling enough already to get by, but retail shops are making a mint. Shame on you!
Time to boycott some of these shops.
