Wings of Inspiration gets blessed

Wings of Inspiration Dorah’s Ark Orphanage, which is situated in Roodepoort, is home to over 40 orphaned and abandoned children.

 

Wings of Inspiration Dorah’s Ark Orphanage in Roodepoort has officially opened a Day Care Centre.

Stanlib has shown its support for uplifting others by revamping the centre and donating a playground, computers, and a Wendy house that will be used as a Day Care classroom. The centre was officially opened on 20 April.

Wings of Inspiration Dorah’s Ark Orphanage is situated in the Roodepoort CBD. The orphanage is home to over 40 orphaned and abandoned children of all ages. It is focused on the children’s development and well-being and had introduced play through education programmes to make a lasting, positive change in each of the children’s lives.

Senior Brand Manager at Stanlib, Rebecca Phiyega said, “This donation does not only form part of our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) purpose; we also believe in the future of the children. We are happy that we were able to contribute towards the upbringing of the children.”
