I have been trying to contact City Power regarding two guys in a car who have been to my place in my absence on several occasions, indicating that they are from City Power and are required to audit the electricity meters.
I work in Pretoria from Monday to Friday, so I’m only available during the weekend. I wanted first to verify the validity of their story, then if it’s true, to arrange that they come when I am available.
My mom, who saw them, is elderly and I have given clear instructions to her not to open to any strangers as it is unsafe to do so, so she spoke to them from a distance. I need to confirm with them if these are indeed their people and if they can come when I am at home, at an arranged time.
I made about 20 calls in one day. Not one was answered.
