Between 26 and 29 April, the Roodepoort Police arrested 46 suspects during stop-and-search operations.
The suspects, aged between 22 and 51, were arrested on the following charges – assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm; drunken driving; possession of stolen property; domestic violence; shoplifting; malicious damage to property; possession of drugs; possession of dagga; robbery with a weapon other than a firearm; theft; possession of a hijacked vehicle; possession of a stolen motor vehicle; contravention of the Liquor Act (59 of 2003); contempt of court; drunkenness and illegal gambling.

The suspects were detained at the Roodepoort Police Station.
