Roodepoort Child Welfare winter ball set to take place in early June

As part of its annual winter care campaign, Roodepoort Child Welfare (RCW) will be hosting a Masquerade Winter Ball at Hole in One in June, and all are invited to attend.

The ball is set to be hosted at Hole in One Boutique Hotel in Ruimsig on 2 June, and the funds raised at the event will be used by the non-profit organisation (NPO) to support and protect orphaned and vulnerable children in its care, as well as to support the families who act as care-givers within the community, in order to make sure the children receive the love and care that they need.

Funds will specifically go towards coordinating services and interventions to prevent child abuse and neglect; providing training and workshops among other services to vulnerable families that require assistance with protecting and caring for children; investigating reports of possible child abuse and neglect; and supporting the education, nutrition, health, and well-being of children living with relatives or foster families.

Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn, will be the guest of honour at the event, which will follow a strictly black tie dress code.

Costs to attend the event stand at R450 per person, or R5 000 per corporate table of 10 people.

Reservations must be made with Debbie Louw via e-mail at rcwfundraising@gmail.com before 24 May to provide time for the planning of the event.

Banking details and further information about the event can also be obtained from Debbie.
