Scores arrested during searches
Suspects detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
Forty suspects were arrested during stop-and-search operations this past week (16 to 19 April).
The suspects, aged between 29 and 52, were arrested on charges of fraud, possession of drugs, possession of dagga, assault and pointing of firearm, malicious damage to property, sexual assault, shoplifting, interfering with police duties, reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence, theft, common assault, kidnapping and assault, and intimidation.
