City of Joburg to hold public meetings to discuss City’s plans

The objective of the public outreach is to discuss the 2018/19 Integrated Development Plan (IDP), Budget and Tariffs proposals.

Communities are invited to take part in an outreach to be hosted by the City of Johannesburg to consult communities about the City’s draft plans for 2018/19.

According to City of Johannesburg Council Speaker, councillor Vasco da Gama, the objective of the public outreach is to discuss the 2018/19 Integrated Development Plan (IDP), Budget and Tariffs proposals.

These meeting are to be held as follows:

Region E – 5 April at 6pm at the Marlboro Community Centre, 52 Zinnia Drive, Marlboro Gardens

Region A – 7 April at 10am at the Rabie Ridge Community Hall, 3 Korhaan Street, cnr Kraai Street, Rabie Ridge (behind the police station)

Region F – 11 April at 6pm at the Johannesburg City Hall, Helen Joseph and City Hall Street

Region B – 14 April at 10am at the Danie van Zyl Recreation Centre, cnr Rex Street and Plantation Road, Montclare

Region D1 – 18 April at 6pm at the Dlamini Community Hall, 1802 Koma Street, Dlamini, Soweto

Region G – 24 April at 6pm at the Lenasia Civic Centre, 1 Rose Avenue and Eland Street, Lenasia

Region D2 – 5 May at 10am at the Orlando East Communal Hall, 132 Adam Street, cnr Mooki Road, Orlando East

Region C – 8 May at 6pm at Roodepoort City Hall, Berlandina Street, Roodepoort CBD
