Mixed netball ends first 2018 leagues at Hillfox
The first set of Hillfox's netball leagues concluded on Monday, 12 February, after the final of the NX1 league was played.
The first of the netball finals was played on Monday, 5 February, when We Got This took on Norie Junior in the NL1 league final.
The top league’s final game was highly anticipated and saw a large number of people turn out to watch Hillfox’s best netball players lock horns. In a game that deserved the crowd it drew, Norie Junior managed to defeat We Got This by 22 points to 15.
In what is arguably the most enjoyable form of netball at Hillfox, the top mixed teams in the NX1 league battled it out on Monday, 12 February.
The mixed leagues at Hillfox are always a joy to watch, mainly because some of the men who take part are only there in order to keep their Mrs happy. In light of that, the final between Silver Ferns and Bly Ingeskakel was definitely a treat for all who watched.
At the end of a fun-filled game peppered with light-hearted comical verbal jabs, Bly Ingeskakel managed to defeat Silver Ferns by 31 points to 24.
The new leagues at Hillfox Action Sports also began on Monday, 12 February.
