A new date for the annual Wilro Cycle Challenge has been set, and cyclists are invited to enter.
The 19th edition of this event will be taking place on 15 April at the Tarlton International Raceway, which will be hosting the event for the ninth consecutive year.
“This is a big event on our calendar and also one of our major fundraising projects.
All the money we raise goes back to our communities in the form of our service projects, which include our Annual Education Bursary, the Lions’ Sensory Garden for the Blind at the Botanical Gardens, Johnson B House at Gateway Village, Guide dogs for the Blind, our monthly food parcels, our annual Cancer Awareness projects and much more – we have even been known to build a house!” said Sandy van Heerden, the club’s Public Relations Officer.
