RRC kick off tenure at Roodepoort Athletics Stadium
After spending January training at Roodepoort High School, Roodepoort Rugby Club finally began their tenure at Roodepoort Athletics Stadium on Thursday, 1 February.
The Roodepoort Rugby Club began their training at their new home on Thursday, 1 February after a long wait to secure the use of the Ruimsig Stadium premises.
They had previously been operating from Roodepoort High School and continued to do so in January of this year.
Their first home game is scheduled to take place on 3 March, and under the guidance of former Golden Lions player Alwyn Hollenbach, the first team is hoping to get the season off to a good start.
The junior sides will begin their training sessions at Allen Glen High School next week.
