Allen’s Nek home robbed by unarmed suspects
According to police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan, at about 1pm, the perpetrators broke down the front door of the house on Landhuis Street, entered it and threatened and robbed the occupants – without wielding any weapons.
Honeydew police are on the hunt for two suspects who committed a house robbery in Allen’s Nek on 30 January.

Due to the persistent scourge of house robberies in the Honeydew policing precinct, Muthan warned residents to be observant and ensure their doors are always locked.
“Residents should make sure that they lock their security gates, and never leave their sliding doors or windows open. Also, make sure that the post box is clear and always be observant when driving home,” he said.
