Three suspects in Godknows Nare murder case released on bail
Trial to proceed in High Court.
Three Metro Police officers accused of having murdered journalist Godknows Nare in April 2017 appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on 26 January.

The charges against them are murder, defeating the ends of justice and assault. They were granted bail of R5 000 each. One of the conditions of their bail is that they report to a police station nearest to their homes twice a week.

The case is said to be continued in the South Gauteng High Court on 9 February when a pre-hearing will be held.
