Stop-and-search operations lead to multiple arrests
The suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
During the weekend of 26 to 28 January Roodepoort Police made 46 arrests.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 56 were arrested on the following charges: assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm, drunken driving, possession of stolen property, domestic violence, shoplifting, malicious damage to property, possession of drugs, possession of dagga, housebreaking and theft, house robbery, dealing in liquor and possession of stolen motor vehicle.
