What a fun day we had … with popcorn
“The popcorn was yummy and I had fun eating it. I got to paint my own popcorn holder and that was fun too,” said Jack Gray from Grade 00.
The kiddies at Trinityhouse Pre-primary School had a blast when the school celebrated International Popcorn Day with fun and exciting activities.
International Popcorn Day was observed on 19 January.

The learners had fun learning where popcorn comes from and how it is made. As part of the fun, the little ones counted with the popcorn kernels as they puffed and then made their own popcorn holders. Some children painted and drew beautiful drawings on their holders. After the decorations were done, the popcorn was poured into the containers and the learners had the opportunity to enjoy the snack while being treated to a short film to add to the fun.
