Florida’s gospel artist released his debut single yesterday

If Mkhaliphi could make his dream come true, what's stopping you?

Ngiyabonga igzi (Thank you for the blood) debut single was released yesterday.

Mkhaliphi’s gospel single was released on 25 January. The name of the song is Ngiyabonga igazi, meaning thank you for the blood. The whole inspiration behind the name of the song is because of the blood that Jesus shed on the cross.

“When I think of the blood that Jesus shed for us on the day of crucifixion, I just become so grateful and I want to thank Him. That is why I decided to name my song Ngiyabonga igazi,” said Mkhaliphi.

Mkhaliphi Langa, the youngest of three, hails from Soweto, where he lived for most of his early life. He moved to Florida about five years ago after he got married to his beautiful wife Nomsa Langa.

Mkhaliphi states that he has braved difficult circumstances to be where he is now in his life, following God’s call upon his life, a great part of which his music ministry.

“I discovered my vocal talent while I was in Standard 3 (Grade 5) at which point I began to participate in musical groups as a vocalist. I spent over ten years of my early adult life ministering at a leading church in Soweto, mostly as one of the worship leaders,” he said.

According to Mkhaliphi, he spent four years with the acclaimed Joyous Celebration Choir, which greatly grew him as a vocalist and musician.

After the release of his song his next step from now is to take his song to radio stations so that he will be able to minister with his songs to the public.
