Scores arrested over weekend
Suspects detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
Over the weekend of 12 to 14 January, Roodepoort Police arrested 67 suspects in connection with various offences.
During the stop-and-search operations they arrested the suspects, aged between 22 and 63, on the following charges – possession of dagga, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of drugs, shoplifting, drunken driving, common assault, malicious damage to property, dealing in dagga, possession of stolen copper and public drinking.

The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station. All of them will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
