The protesters marched around the mall, for close to two hours, chanting songs of protest against H&M.
They ended their protest around 2pm, leader of the protest, Hendswell Baloyi, saying that “as long as H&M opens their doors, we will be here”.
Despite rumours on social media, at no point was the mall shut down, and at no point did their march turn violent.
The march was carried out in a controlled manner by the EFF, with many other marches happening around the country.
The situation has now been brought under control, with JMPD and SAPS monitoring the situation.
