They have received information that criminals are targeting the Little Falls/Strubensvalley/Wilgeheuwel areas.
They are switching off the electricity at the box outside properties and waiting for alarm batteries to run down and then coming back a couple of days later to break in and steal items from the property.
With all the power failures we experience in the area some residents ignore the message assuming that it is just another power failure.
The vehicle the criminals are using is a Black VW Polo, if you see this vehicle acting suspiciously in the area please call the Police or a crime fighting structure such as your local CPF or security company.
