21-year-old motorcycle rider dies in accident
Driver of vehicle was allegedly under influence of alcohol.
At approximately 8.10pm yesterday (7 December) a QRS ambulance was dispatched to Mindalore/ Witpoortjie on Albertina Sisulu Road.
The crew found that a motorcycle and a BMW had collided. The 21-year-old motorcycle rider was in a critical condition and paramedics from QRS, ER24 and Netcare 911 attended to him. Despite advanced life support interventions the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on scene.

According to sources the BMW was coming from the liquor store next to Witpoortjie Hotel and attempted to make a U-turn into Albertina Sisulu Road. It turned right in front of the motorcycle which was travelling towards Krugersdorp.
It is also alleged that the driver of the BMW was under the influence.
