Join in the fun at Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden

The Christmas spirit will prevail at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden during its annual Christmas Carols and Market.

The Soweto Marimba Youth League (SMYLe) will be keeping the audience entertained, before various artists perform their own, unique versions of Christmas Carols such as Joy to the World, O, come let us adore Him, Silent Night, Jingle Bells, and many more.

This event is not only for adults – there will be lots for the children to do as well, including face painting and jumping castles. And to make your Christmas shopping a bit easier, there will be a variety of stalls at the market, selling unique gifts and items, perfect for that special person, or just for personal indulgence.

Various performers will be singing all-time favourite Christmas Carols.

“As this is a charity fundraising event, donation boxes will be provided at the entrance, for money or other donations. Lanterns and candles will also be on sale at the gate,” said Ronnie Tshabalala, the marketing and communication officer of the botanical garden.

Tickets cost R80 for adults and R40 for scholars, and are available online at https://www.webtickets.co.za/event.aspx?itemid=1475164692.
