Fourth annual High Tea event a huge success

The senior citizens of the Witpoortjie Senior Park recently celebrated their fourth annual High Tea event.

The day’s activities were kicked off by the Chairman of the Board, Dave Griffiths, who welcomed everyone to the event, and thanked the team for their hard work in putting it all together and for coming out to visit the home.

René thanked the Board for their hard work and the staff for the caring and loving manner in which they care for the residents at the home.

“I also want to thank the residents for welcoming the team back every year and spending time with the senior citizens,” she said.

Denise Cox, Witpoortjie resident and Ward Committee member for Health, assisting with setting up for the event.

The day was concluded with the serving of coffee, tea, cakes, sweets and a variety of snacks for everyone to enjoy. Every resident also received a little gift pack with chocolates and sweets.
