More charges in pipeline for Klinkenberg person of interest
NPA to decide on charges.
Two more charges will possibly be added to the Theuns Grobler case, in which he currently stands accused of the illegal possession of firearms.
The Krugersdorp Regional Court heard today that the State has sent two more dossiers to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) – one for SARS fraud and one for money-laundering. The NPA will decide by 30 January 2018, when Grobler appears in court again, whether these charges will be prosecuted.

Meanwhile the State and Grobler’s Defence team have agreed that he no longer needs to report to the Hekpoort Police Station as part of his bail conditions. Instead, he only has to inform the investigating officer, Captain Ben Booysen via his legal representative if he wants to leave Gauteng.
Grobler is also a person of interest in the Robert Klinkenberg murder case.
