Classic Car and Motor Show around the corner
Grilled prawns will be the order of the day.
Classic car enthusiasts and petrolheads in general are in for a treat.
The Classic Car and Motor Show will be hosted on December 3 at Nasrec and promises to be a feast for the eyes, the
ears and the palate.
“On the day, Nasrec is going to have the delicious aroma of sizzling prawns grilled in all manner of spices mingling with the traditional smells of high octane fuel and hot engine oil,” said one of the organisers, Paulo Calisto.
“The latest cars that formed part of the Ford Performance drive in 2016 and going into 2017 are wonderfully balanced machines, having a fine mix of turbocharged power – in the case of the Ford Fiesta ST, Focus RS and the smaller-engined Ford Mustang – and of course the stonking 5,0-litre version of the Mustang.
“In addition to all this, at The Classic Car and Motor Show there will be dozens of hot-rods, muscle cars, British, French and German classics, VW Kombis, VW Beetles, Cadillacs, Corvettes, Cobras – you name it …” he said
Nasrec is located just off the N1 highway South West of Johannesburg, and is simple to access via the Rand Show Road off-ramp.
