Burst pipe leaves residents without water

Technicians busy with repairs

Residents in Weltevreden Park along Hendrik Potgieter Road are experiencing an unplanned water outage, due to a major burst pipe at Lower Lake Road, Floracliffe.

According to Eleanor Mavimbela, the spokesperson for Johannesburg Water (JW), the area will be without water until repairs are completed.

“We do have a team on site, busy with repairs, but, unfortunately, we do not currently have an estimated time of restoration,” she said.
