‘I want to inspire and empower all women’

Miss Inspire SA finalist reaching out to women

“There are so many women needing help and motivation to get their lives back on track, and that is what I am here for,” said Bhijal Parbhoo.

She is one of the Top 5 finalists in the Miss Inspire South Africa 2017, and is in the process of advancing herself to better her Women Empowerment Programme that started at the beginning of this year.

Bhijal is quite a busy woman – she’s not just writing her next children’s book, which focuses on bullying in schools, but she is also working on completing her Yoga certification, and undergoing training in self-defence for beginners.

Her Women Empowerment Programme is a three-hour programme of motivational speaking, affirmations, dance (both two-step and Indian dance), self-defence classes for beginners, Yoga (for both beginners and advanced) and meditation. “Some of the feedback I have received from the women who have already attended the course was very positive. That is why I am only getting more motivated as I go along,” a clearly excited Bhijal said.

The programme is about inspiring and empowering women, especially in the corporate world. For more information, Bhijal can be contacted via email to bhijalp@hotmail.com.

Her new book, entitled The Girl with the Crown, will be available at the beginning of next year.
