23 October is National iPod Day – specially created to celebrate the change it brought to our way of listening to music.
The first Apple iPod was sold on 10 November 2001 for 399 dollars – approximately R5 542!
The iPod’s groundbreaking technology impacted many people – it changed the way we purchase and listen to music forever! National iPod Day was created to recognise this achievement and celebrate it annually.
It is also the perfect day to remember Apple’s co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer – Steve Jobs.
Celebrate National iPod Day by downloading a few of your favourite, or some new, songs to your iPod, and enjoy listening to them.
Use #iPodDay to post on social media.
