Welties clinic to host health days
Two health days offering a variety of services to the public will be held in October.
The Weltevreden Park Clinic will be hosting two health days in October.
The clinic has organised an open day event on 5 October, during which the clinic will showcase the City’s health services. Members of the public will be able to come in for the following tests and examinations:
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- HIV/Aids
- Cervical and breast cancer
- Prostate cancer
- TB screening
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Cholesterol testing
The clinic staff will also host a health day at 31C John Vorster Flats in Randpark Ridge on 14 October, where the following tests and services will be rendered:
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- HIV/Aids
- Cervical and breast cancer
- Prostate cancer
- TB screening
Consulting hours at the clinic are from 8am to 4pm from Mondays to Thursdays and 8am to noon on a Friday. Every fourth Monday of the month, there are ‘evening clinic’ hours, from 4pm to 6pm. The clinic can be contacted on 011 679 3623.
