Makro workers involved in noisy protest
Workers are demanding a better wage from the employer.

A very large number of Makro employees in Clearwater are currently singing and dancing outside the store on 23 September.

The workers, clad in uniform, are said to be demanding a better wage from the employer.
The protest has caught the attention of many shoppers as the workers are demonstrating their grievances on placards and blowing noisy vukuzelas while singing and dancing to struggle songs.

The disgruntled workers have refused to speak to the Northsider and have referred the publisher to their union representative.
