The non-profit organisation (NPO) Wings of Inspiration Care Centre is in dire straits and is depending on the community for survival. The organisation runs an Emergency Sponsorship Project for children and gets no assistance from the state. They care for 77 babies and children in two crisis centres. Forty-two of these children are orphans between the ages of newborn and 18.
The organisation is appealing for funding for the orphans in their care as a result of having lost sponsors. The children are from abused, abandoned, impoverished and disadvantaged backgrounds. With the community’s help, the NPO can create and provide food, security, education, and a stimulating, empowering, nurturing and uplifting environment for the children.
