Discovery duo excel in words and numbers

Duo bring pride to their school

 

Lamiyah Patty and Campbell Boas represented Discovery Primary Full Service School with pride recently. Lamiyah finished in third position in a district Spellathon competition.

The competition was held at Horizon View Primary School, with participants from 35 other schools joining in. Lamiyah achieved a score of 28 points out of a possible 30, just one point away from the first and second place winners, who scored 29 points each.

Campbell achieved a sixth position when he competed in the Mental Maths Challenge along with learners from more than 35 schools. The competition was held at Laerskool Florida last month.
